On the morning December 18, at the Moc Bai border gate economic zone Tay Ninh province, Coprs 20 – Saigon New Port Corporation (SNP) held a ceremony conference of operations at Tan Cang - Moc Bai ICD (TCMB), this event marks an important in development strategy for logistics infrastructure and cross border trade between Vietnam and Cambodia. The ceremony was chaired by
Senior Colonel Phung Ngoc Minh, Deputy Commander of Corps 20 and Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation.
Attending the ceremony were
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Council;
Mr. Le Van Hanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee; along with representatives from Customs, Border Guard forces, strategic partners, import–export enterprises, transport companies, and industry associations.
Within the framework of the ceremony,
Tan Cang – Tay Ninh Joint Stock Company (a member of the Saigon Newport system), the investor and operator of TCMB, signed cooperation agreements and contracts with strategic partners, including
Viettel Logistics Services One Member Limited Liability Company and
TanCang Logistics Joint Stock Company. The cooperation aims to develop comprehensive logistics services at TCMB, including warehouse and yard operations, storage services, and the deployment of information technology solutions to support management and monitoring activities.

The participation and close cooperation of strategic partners affirm
TCMB’s role in the regional supply chain, while also demonstrating
TCMB’s strong commitment to developing a modern and reliable border logistics hub.

During the
2026–2030 period, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) aims to position
Tan Cang – Moc Bai ICD (TCMB) as a
leading cross-border logistics service hub in Tay Ninh Province and across international border gates between
Vietnam and Cambodia. The objective is to fully utilize
Phase 1 capacity, with TCMB serving as a focal point for the
consolidation, inspection, and supervision of import and export cargo.
Phase 2is expected to be completed by
2028, focusing on expanding the logistics network and diversifying export commodities.
Through the operation of TCMB, SNP delivers a
comprehensive logistics solution that enables import–export enterprises to
optimize costsand
reduce transportation time by more than 50% once the key
Ho Chi Minh City – Moc Bai expressway is completed. This represents SNP’s strong commitment to accompanying the development of
Tay Ninh Province, creating a
“green gateway” that is smooth, efficient, and capable of driving bilateral trade flows between
Vietnam and Cambodia toward new milestones in the future.
Speaking at the ceremony,
Senior Colonel Phung Ngoc Minh emphasized that
Saigon Newport Corporation has been upgraded to Corps 20, becoming one of the
seven corps of the Vietnam People’s Army, and is currently on a roadmap to be transformed into a
Saigon Newport Marine Economic Corps in the near future.
Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) is concentrating its resources on the development of
Tan Cang – Moc Bai Inland Container Depot (TCMB) with a strategic orientation that integrates
road transportation with the inland waterway port system as a hinterland network, connecting cargo flows from seaports to key production and consumption areas. This integrated approach helps
reduce logistics costs, expand cargo volumes, and aligns with the strategy of
greening the logistics supply chain, while strengthening connectivity between
Tay Ninh Province and neighboring economic regions within SNP’s port–logistics ecosystem.
TCMB is expected to serve as a
key logistics infrastructure, creating added investment value for investors in Tay Ninh Province, effectively attracting
social resources, and promoting
production, import–export activities, thereby contributing to a
sustainable increase in local budget revenues. 
On this occasion,
Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) provided
VND 100 millionin support to the
Fund for the Poor of Tay Ninh Province, while
Tan Cang – Tay Ninh Joint Stock Company contributed
VND 50 million to the
Fund for the Poor of Ben Cau District.
